Students were given an assignment to read pages 481-497 out of the book (one of only two book assignments given this semester) and to answer questions 1-17 on page 498. Students who worked on it during class were able to finish. Those who talked during class didn't finish and had to check out a book to finish this at home. This was an introduction to patterns, preparing fabric for patterns and cutting and using patterns and pattern symbols to make projects. Students were also told that their fabric and interfacing for the tie/purse project is due on April 15th.
