September 28th
Students continued working on their tissue box covers. Any student who still did not have their fabric for this project was allowed to make rock salt babies for our Teen Living class to make up the participation points, but they are behind on their project. The tissue box covers are due on Monday, October 1st at the end of class. Students must work on their projects in class so they are not tempted to have someone make the project for them. They also need the fleece fabric for their hat on October 10th. This is also the day of Reality Town. If there is a conflict with this activity and class, the fabric will be due the enxt day (the 11th).

September 27th
Students started working on their tissue box project. All students were given the instructions and the scoring guide today. Anyone who did not have their fabric was asked to work on the Rock Salt babies for Teen Living to earn their points for today. If they chose not to work on either, they did not earn any points. The tissue box project will be due on Monday, October 1st at the end of class.

Grades
Students are responsible for getting on PowerSchool on a regular basis to check for missing assignments and their current grade. Citizenship will be adjusted at mid-term and the end of the term, so students also need to watch how many tardies they have and their behavior in class.
September 26th
The class learned about the differences between pressing and ironing. Pressing equipment, ironing area rules and reasons for pressing were discussed. Students will be starting on their tissue box covers tomorrow.
September 25th
Students were given a copy of their current class grade. Students were then given the rest of class to catch-up on any missing assignments they had.
Welcome!
Starting today, this blog site will be updated every couple of days or more with information about what we are doing in Clothing I. Parents and students will be able to look on the site to see what they may have missed when absent and what assignment/project/fabric due dates are coming up. If you or your student needs a copy of an assignment, they need to come to my office in AT 111. Thank you for checking this site!
